Prompt: Find every moment the crowd jumps on a drop and string them together

The event was six hours.
Nobody will watch six hours.

A recap is two minutes made out of everything: the stage cameras, a roaming camera, the board feed, the crowd. The moments that matter are somewhere in hours of footage, and the only way to find them is to watch it all.

So the recap waits on a day of scrubbing, and it lands after the people who were there have stopped posting about it.

From six hours of footage
to the minutes that count

Find any moment by describing it

The crowd jumping on the drop, the speaker walking on, the confetti. Scene search finds it by what's on screen, and text search finds it by what was said.

A recap from one sentence

Ask for two minutes of the night, opening on the crowd, and Selects assembles it from the moments it found. Change the length or the order with another sentence.

Every camera, plus the board feed

Sync the stage cameras, the roaming camera and the sound desk recording by waveform or timecode. One project holds 10 or more angles.

The recap, and the clips for socials

Ask for shorts from the same footage and Selects cuts up to 10 at a time, each its own draft. Caption them, then post to YouTube or TikTok from Selects.

Same event. Recap out the next morning.

FAQ

How do I make an event highlight video?
  1. Drop in the footage from every camera and analyze it.
  2. Sync the cameras that rolled at the same time.
  3. Ask chat for the recap, like two minutes, open on the crowd, end on the headliner.
  4. Give notes in chat or trim by hand, then export or hand off.

Analysis takes about 20 minutes per hour of video. You can keep working while it runs.

Can it find moments when nobody is talking?

Yes. Selects watches the footage as well as reading the transcript, so scene search finds moments by what's on screen: the crowd jumping, a packed dance floor, the speaker walking on.

Can it cut the recap to music?

Yes. Add the track to your draft and ask chat to cut the recap to the beat.

Selects doesn't generate music, so bring a track you have the rights to use.

Can I get social clips from the same footage?

Yes. Ask chat for shorts and it cuts up to 10 at a time, each its own draft. Set the frame size to 1080×1920 for vertical and add captions in the Captions app.

Then publish to YouTube or TikTok from Selects, up to 10 at a time.

Can I sync the stage cameras with the sound desk recording?

Yes, by audio waveform or by timecode. One project holds 10 or more camera angles plus separate audio, and you can build a synced timeline for each stage or session and cut one recap from all of them.

Can I turn a list of notes into a new cut?

Yes. Leave timestamped comments on the draft and send them to chat. Selects proposes one plan covering every note and builds a new draft, leaving the original untouched.
